How to Get the Most Relevant Blogs with Fast Blog Finder

Links don't just improve your position in the search engines. They also provide another way for people visiting other sites to find you, thus increasing referring traffic.

It's better to have one good link than a hundred bad links. A good link is a link that brings you traffic. These links are from relevant pages that are related to your website with links coming back to your website and are some of the strongest links you can obtain.

Link relevancy is certainly a factor to bear in mind. If you obtain links with the correct anchor text from relevant sites within your industry, the link will provide a great deal of benefit in helping you increase your own rankings which means more traffic to your website, more visitors, and more sales.

Here are 3 quick tips you can follow to get the most relevant blogs to your keywords in Fast Blog Finder:

  • Set 5 pages to fetch from search engines in Fast Blog Finder Settings.
  • Put your search phrase in quotes.
  • Select the "Top 10, 20 or 50 Results" from the Start menu.

I don’t want to rain on anyones parade here and I may be wrong but I agree with the comments by Julia Jan the 25th.
Too many nofollow links with the free version.

Contrary to the reply to Julia the settings does allow for (Detect and Domain page PR for DO Follow links only). This setting dosent work in the Free version well not for me anyhow.

I’m dubious of some of the glowing contributions made here most are not constructive and many are for the free version.

Example Bruce from New Zealand the Seo Consultant who worked on the software for five hours taking 30 minutes for one post reply.

There are free versions on the net of blog software that I’ve tested that are on a par with this product. I’m still looking for the most comprehensive.

    Hello

thanks for the free version. Looks like my niches are not really written about which is not your programs fault, need to look for new niches. Still a very useful tool.

    thanks

the “deepscan option” is amazing. the first time i tried comment kahuna, i got excited about all the results only to find many of them nofollow.
all 3 parts of the video provided truly amazing details about the product that i did not find when searching for reviews about your product. i heighly recommend adding voice to the video, and i highly recommend explaining these advanced options in another page on your site so google can find it.

    Hi,
well a very good piece of software even the free vers which gave me a taste of what the full version would be like.
I havent yet had the time to fully go out there looking for blogs but i have started to see some results on the ones i did find.

i will give it a go more and see more quality traffic to my sites, and will upgrade to the full version.

I was not happy with the free version. Most of the sites returned were not dofollow for the keywords that I picked.

Is there some way that I could specify that I only want to see dofollow sites?

Additionally, the blogs that were dofollow had nothing to do with the keywords that I specified.

    Please advise.

Before seeing the video on the deepscan option I had set up a filter to only return the DoFollow results. I can see now that this is a mistake. It makes more sense to return all the results and sort by type then try a deepscan on the unknown types to find even more DoFollow results. Thanks.

I really appreciate the wealth of information available in the tutorials on your site. I am one of those strangely “wired” people who always have a great deal of difficulty getting started with something new. It’s as if my brain tells me that since you don’t know how to do this (how could I?), you can’t do it! So, I get agitated whenever I’m looking at learning something new. I have accomplished many things in my life and everything new always starts with this thought pattern which makes me want to give up before I even start.

I’m going to finish reading all your other tutorials, download the free, trial version and just get started.

Thanks again for the preliminary educational material your site provides.

    Hi Julia,

I downloaded the free version and watched the videos which were extremely helpful in learning the software. Tried it on a few keywords and started to find blogs that matched my keyword or keyword phrases.

After looking at the blogs – I upgraded so that I could get more blogs to comment on, if I like the material posted by the blogger. I have used only a few of my kw’s or kw phrases and have plenty of work ahead of me.

A side benefit, is that I am finding blogs that just plain interest me and find the posts to be enlightening and broadening my horizons – something that is an intangible benefit.

I do suggest that users do use the share it function – I have noticed an increase in traffic on my social networking sites and some increase in my site’s traffic as a by product. Yesterday, 17% of my traffic from referring sites came from social networking sites.

A quick example of how sharing (one of the hidden treasures) can benefit you.

Love the program and can’t wait for the enhanced version or upgrade to come out.

    Thank you – Julia 🙂

Very useful and worth watching. The software appears basic at first but it has great depth when you know what switches to press.

I’ve just downloaded the free version and thought it quite good. I left (insightful!I hope) comments at several blogs. I don’t know how the paid version is different, though. I’m sure that information is around somewhere but I have not yet found it.

    Hi Julia,

This is an amazing piece of software. I’m relativley new to internet marketing but all the same I can understand the power of being able to place good comments on multiple blogs to increase you ‘expert’ status in the community as well as the power of placing a link back to your site to increase your ranking in the search engines.

And on top of that it’s so easy to use. I’m having such fun. Well done.

    >I was not happy with the free version. Most of the sites returned were not dofollow for the keywords that I picked. Is there some way that I could specify that I only want to see dofollow sites?

Sorry, there is no way to specify in the search query that you want to see only “DoFollow” blogs. It’s not the software fault. Simply there are no many “DoFollow”blogs in your niche relevant to your search keywords. “NoFollow” blogs are also worth to post comments on. As a blog reader who leaves useful comments, you could establish relationship with the blog owner and he may want to post a review of you product or service at a later time. So, you can benefit from “NoFollow” blogs too. Also, if the blog readers find your comments interesting and useful, they can click on your link and come to your website. Thus, you can get more visitors, subscribers and potential buyers.

    >Additionally, the blogs that were dofollow had nothing to do with the keywords that I specified.

The Blog Finder returns only those blogs that are ranked in the search engines for your keywords. You can click on the “Toggle highlighting keywords” button above the Page Preview panel and the program will show you if there are your keywords on the page or not. You can also try to change your search terms a little to find more relevant blogs. In the 3rd part of this video we tell about the possibilities to refine the search results.

    Hi,

Im not sure how i come to get this software first, one of the marketers that i subscribe to most likely promoted it.

But i had a look and i am glad i did, i have the free vers first which is quite good to give it a bit of a spin and see how it goes.

I will most likely update my program to the paid version as its relatively inexpensive.

    thanks,

    steve

I have downloaded free version 3 days a go and was very happy with 50 free results. Not any wonder because G-lock have always provided excellent software (i’m happy owner of Advanced Administrative tools license).
Today i have decided to bought full version and i have only word – Excellent
My first search give me back more than 1500+ results where about 400 is dofollow! It is really great
One thing for next build is to mark already appeared site (domain) in search results because sometime appear 4-5 different pages for same domain.
Anyway great program and recommend it to anyone.

    Thanks to G-lock team!

My first impression of the software has been very good- I like its speed of processing and the ability to export the results. I like the video but would preferred sound and screen shots of actual on screen searches, at the same time I understand not everyone can use the sound option.

I hope the software is not abused (still providing quality results – links on no follow blogs) and great comment information- then it becomes an asset.

Very nice. Short and quick and to the point. I think they’re really useful features — especially the deep scan. I like the software and it’s worth the money. So far, I think it’s easy to use, simple to learn, and most importantly, it seems to be powerful, which is a great combination.

This really does look like an amazing tool – I like the fact that the software is comprehensive and able to really draw a decent report of the kind of blogs, as well as produce better search results for valid blogs. This is something I usually have to find out manually. With this, I can definitely rely on the information on the report more accurately instead of needing to always ‘double check.’

    Hi Julia,

Excellent piece of software. I have seen another software trying to do the same thing, but this one is head and shoulder above. I have only looked at the demo version, but am not considering buying it. Even the free version found me quite a few do follows.

    Keep up the great work.

Great tutorial this program looks really official. I was wondering though if this program is susceptible to not working anymore sometime in the future? I know that some of the other similar programs out there have to be constantly updated to still work properly.

    Hi Julia,

That’s very nice. I just asked about the auto-fill feature a few days ago and u are so quick to have it in video tutorial now. It’s be even better if future version of Fast Blog Finder can have these info/profile (Name, Mail, Website, Comment) auto filled up whenever a site is being loaded. Of course, it’ll be good if it allows us to have multiple profiles so that we can switch between different profile at different site/blog.

The Deep Scan feature is very useful. I’ve in fact been using it already.

I am a senior SEO consultant with SEO Global and I have to say, having worked with Fast Blog Finder since January 18 2008 that this tool is one of the very best back-linking tools I have ever come across! I have spent close on five hours this evening posting rich content posts on niche-related blogs to those of my clients… and it’s been thoroughly enjoyable (except for those times when, after spending 30 minutes typing a very lengthy post, the friggin screen goes blank when I hit submit! (and I lose the post!). Wish I knew how to prevent that from happening – it’s most annoying.

    Hi Julia,

Nice videos — short, and to the point. Unlike many who try to do and/or say too much in a single video you have learned to cover a SINGLE subject per video — many could profit from following your lead.

BTW, your software is of good quality, stable, intuitive and ergonomically easy to use. Having been a software developer for nearly 40 years I KNOW how hard it is to do create something simple to use. Here’s wishing you every success with your hard work and I look forward to the expansion of your product line.
