A lot of people still have no clue that storing private date on blogs and weblogs such as google notebook can be dangerous. Especially so when private data describes the person and malicious activities can be carried out to harm the person.

Also, thanks for this post and i can see that you are giving very valuable advise to people for free

As you say this is probably a good short term opportunity but I would not put a huge amount of effort into a Google site. They are in the business of monitoring and evaluating links an could ‘change the rules’ at any time in which case you could see hours of effort evaporate.

Take the opportunity whilst it is there but adopt a well balanced link building apporoach.

This is a marvelous idea. Any anchored links on anything sponsored by Google is probably a good idea since I believe they automatically index all their own stuff. I wonder if there is any additional authority granted to Google properties? Hmm . . .

Excellent tips there. Using Google apps to create back links is indeed a reasonable way to get more back links and perhaps authority as well.

That is an interesting idea for a link building campaign. I wonder how much weight Google gives into what is on the notebooks and the links from them?

Wow, i’ve never heard of google notebook how new is it? I usually try to stay up on things, but its so easy to miss something in the hail of new products and services. This looks like it could be pretty helpful. thanks.

Thanks for the great tip. I was unaware about Google Notebook, sounds like a great idea to drive a couple more backlinks.

Have tried the Fast Blog Finder, looks like a great tool and superior to what’s out there, will invest in the Gold Edition sometime.

This is a good idea indeed, but I agree I have never seen any search result displaying notebook pages. If google notebook is indexed. Than is there any chance that Documents in google doc and other google utilities also be indexed and can provide back link. Any idea?

I haven’t seen any google notebook entries for the top page of anything but ultra niche keywords (where it’s really only THE google notebook and nothing else).

Care to provide a few examples Dino (not critiquing just interested)?
