Comments on: Fast Blog Finder v2.6 vs. v3.0: Live Test

Just today I upgraded from v2.6 to v3.0 (free edition).
Although I have bought Gold version from developers – I wanted to test by myself about both free versions first.
So, here is my thoughts about that:

1) First of all – the new version of G-Lock Fast Blog Finder is more stable
Old version was taking all free resources from my old 1,7MHz test machine.
New version is working really stable
2) New version working fast, and you can see that difference immediately (old free versions are like turtle), although they was used about 1 year period and made a lot of work.
3) Sometimes (not so often) old v2.6 was giving sadly result on some searches like “your keyword”: The search process is terminated (it was automatically stopped). Even when we tried to make the same search again – still the same result: only one blog and stop of whole process.
Just to see a difference – I made a test, using the same problematic phrase in new version of program. And…it wasn’t terminated! Plus, program given several blogs on that keywords.
Probably – it’s speaking itself – quality is powerful.
4) New platforms blogs – also very useful improvement for every blogger.

FANTASTIC! I was hoping that was the meaning of your new icon. I should have made that my official guess.

I already own the current Gold Edition which is an excellent product. Since you’ve added the “Approved Comments” feature, I can’t wait to upgrade, even at $25.00. I’m all in!

I really think I get better SEO results from Google by using Fast Blog Finder than I do from Web 2.0 techniques.

Hi,

How do you think what that new icon on the last screenshot in the post mean? It’s exactly what you ask about. It shows the number of approved comments in the list.

In the new 3.0 version there will be the ability to check posts for your approved comments. And this icon will appear in the Approved column for those blogs where the comment is posted. The icon in the status bar will show the total number of approved comments.

Plus, the program will automatically check the posts for your existing comments during the search process.

After I have submitted a new blog comment, does version 3.0 have the ability to automatically check the new blog comment for webmaster approval?

It’s a slow process to go back to the original blog site to see if my new blog comment is live. And if it is still waiting for approval, then we have to go back the next day and repeat the process. If fastblogfinder had a field that automatically displayed this information, that would be helpful.

Well, since my purchase was September 26th 2009, I believe my next upgrade to v3.0 should be free. Right?
Now, let me guess what that smiley icon means. I think it must be the amount of blogs/page where the total of outbound dofollow links are very small in a range. Hmm… seems like wrong answer.

I am happy with my previous version though i think i would be happier after the upgrade.
Could you please let us know abt the new smiley icon and what does that mean? Any special feature? I am a lil over-curious

If you purchase a license for Fast Blog Finder v2.6 Gold edition now, you will get the upgrade to the v3 for free when the v3 is released. So, you will pay a one time fee of $49.

If you see a blank page after submitting the comment, it means that the blog theme is not fully compatible with the browser. Try to open the blog in a different browser and submit the comment again. Fast Blog Finder opens pages in the Internet Explorer. So, if you submit a comment in Fast Blog Finder and see a blank page, try to open the same blog in Firefox, for instance, and submit the comment using Firefox.
