Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.

Great tip! I have always seen indented sites in google searches, but I never really knew how or why they are there. Now I know, and it looks like I need to get more external site links since all the pages I would like indented are linked from all my internal pages, 1200+ as of right now.

There are a lot of ways to generate a traffic or rush on your website by word and mouth traffic procedures. First is by freebies, promo and entertainment media. Google offers 2 bites of the apple with double listing, and something that should definitely be leveraged for SEO traffic. Recommended to plan for 2 pages for the money KWs, and it would be good to vary the copy of the description to increase overall conversions capturing a wider audience. The 2nd page do not require the same ranking power as the 1st, but only sufficient SEO done to be found on the same page.

Nice post. The do follow social bookmark sites are always a great place to start. You can get some extra traffic from some and help sites rank. Blogs can help if they get spidered alot and you can use keyword for links. Make sure any site is related in topic on page you add link to.

Those list of dofollow social media sites was a real eye-opener. I assumed all social media sites used nofollow for their links. That’s a very useful list.

Another thing is : Google still likes nofollow on the major social media sites like digg.com. If you want to rank quickly for something over a day or so, you can do this via digg posts. I’ve seen content on digg.com published an hour ago in the Google search listings and on the first page for quite generic search terms. Of course it doesn’t stay there for long, it’s just their freshness bump they give to new content.

Thank you for the tips! I’ve been researching many SEO sites & have not come across this information. I’ve bookmarked the site so I can refer back to this information anytime. I ran this info past a couple friends that specialize in seo & they had never heard about Fast Blog Finder. I think they will quickly become avid users in the near future. Thanks for the post… I totally agree. Many times the obvious choices for gaining links are found out quickly, and the spammed like crazy. As a result, the admins enable the ‘nofollow’ attribute becuase their site is flooded with garbage. I for one, am glad NOT to be part of that crazy trip.

Thanks for keeping the dofollow blogs a little bit under the radar so that there are still plenty available for the rest of us non-spammers.
